Ìn our previous article, What Nobody Told you about Selling your Italian Book in your own Country, we told you how to sell your book in your own country after translating it into Italian.
But actually you don't need to only sell it in your own country. As we said many times, Europeans love American authors, and this means that you have tons of chances to become famous overseas.
Here you can find some tips to sell your book in Italy or Spain.

  • Contact bloggers who love reading: there are tons of webpages dedicated to books reveiews. They are readers who will be more than happy to receive you book (for free) and to write a review of it. And this will assure you a lot of publicity!
  • Contact reading associacions: there are tons of reading clubs who meet once per week/month to read a book. And, once again, they will be more than happy to receive your book and share it with their members.
  • Create a blog in Italian or Spanish. If there is something that Italian and Spanish authors DON'T have is a good blog. Europeans readers will be amazed by a good blog and will fall in love with your characters!
  • Contact Facebook reading groups. They will share your book for free and, again, your marketing will be top!

I can hear you saying,

...but I don't speak Italian nor Spanish!!!
It doesn't really matter. First of all because, even if Italian and Spanish people are famous to be absolutely bad when it comes to English, I can assure you we are improving and we are able to manage a little conversation in English.
And, if you find in trouble because they can't, we will be happy to help you with it!

So don't be afraid about your European marketing strategy and start to sell your book for real!
